The Walking Dead returned this week with a brand new episode titled “Bury Me Here” and it looks like the fight to take down Negan is gearing up.

We kick off this week’s episode with the long awaited story of our good friend Carol. She wakes up, smokes a cigar, and clearly realizes she needs to be elsewhere. This is when she collects her belongings and sets off to accomplish something. She heads towards the Kingdom and demands to speak to Morgan, who’s training kids with his staff. This will definitely come in handy when the fight finally begins against Negan.

Carol begins questioning Morgan about the Saviors, Alexandria, Daryl, and basically just everything that’s going down between everyone. She has regrets, of course, and wants to go back to talk to Rick and Daryl about what she’s missed all this time while she’s been in hiding. Benjamin is itching to go with her. He’s definitely found a role-model within Carol. I mean, who wouldn’t? She turns him away though.

Benjamin carries on with his mission to get supplies to the Saviors. Morgan, Richard, and a few others go as well. They hit a roadblock though, which can never be good. As they’re searching around, looking for what or better yet, who is causing this roadblock, they come across a pre-dug grave with a sign above it saying, bury me here. The King goes on his royal spiel about how crazy this world has gotten while the others thank him for providing them with a new world.

The Kingdommers move the roadblock out of the way and carry on to where they meet the Saviors. Once they get there, the leader of that pack of Saviors isn’t pleased with the amount of supplies they’ve brought this time around. The leader demands that they hand over their guns too because “things are about to get emotional.” Meaning the Saviors are probably going to try and kill someone. A Savior holds up a gun to Robert’s head and once Robert tells him to “just do it,” the Savior shoots Benjamin in the arm. Robert is feeling the guilt and Ezekiel is pretty much pissed. Maybe this will finally fuel everyone’s fuel to fight Negan.

They rush him to Carol’s because they gave her medical supplies when she went off on her own but he doesn’t make it.

RIP. Benjamin. Another one bites the dust.

Morgan is torn up about this completely. Especially after he finds out that the reason they were missing a melon was because of Richard. Richard was going to give his life to show that the Saviors need to be stopped. He explains to Morgan that they need to fight against Negan now more than ever. Both of them are torn about Benjamin’s death. And so is Ezekiel. So they all finally decide it’s time to do something about it.

They go on their next trip to meet the Saviors and Morgan starts beating the living daylights out of Richard. Morgan goes on a spiel about how this was all Richard’s fault that they were late the other day and that they were missing a melon. Morgan beating (and killing) Richard was his way of proving that The Kingdom is still serving the Saviors. Richard wanted to give his life to try and save The Kingdom from Negan, and it seems as though we might find out soon that if that’ll hold true. And, on a side note, Morgan finally killed, so it looks like he’s ready to get down and dirty in this fight.

Morgan buries Richard in the pre-dug grave and goes on a killing spree back home. At the end of the episode, he goes to Carol’s and asks if she wants to know what happened in Alexandria. She says yes. He explains everything- that Glenn and Abraham died at the hands of Negan, that Alexandria is completely working for the Saviors, that Spencer and Olivia are dead because of them. Morgan explains that Rick wants to fight.

And apparently, Carol does too. She makes her way to Ezekiel, in hopes that she can convince him to fight as well.
