Like Jo Koy, Jen Kirkman is another Chelsea Handler alumnus, which means that she’s got the same sharp tongue and razor wit. And her newest special, Just Keep Living (out now), she demonstrates that she’s worthy of being this high on the list of the 15 Netflix comedy specials we recommend the most. She’s not afraid to take herself to task the most, and she demonstrated how hard she was willing to go on her previous Netflix special, I’m Gonna Die Alone (And I Feel Fine).

But that’s not the real reason why we love Jen Kirkman. The real reason why we love her is because she’s not afraid to talk about the real issues, like cat-calling and the scarcity of proper sex education. And she’s not afraid to point out that she, too, has a part in all of life’s lunacies. Maybe she didn’t mean to be a feminist comedian, but by God, she’s holding it down quite well.
