We all know Rupert Grint looks like Ed Sheeran but does Rupert know about it? The answer might surprise you.

Everybody’s favorite red-haired Gryffindor has made the rounds of American late night television promoting Snatch, his new series on the streaming app Crackle. Yes, this is the reboot based off the 2002 Guy Ritchie dramedy. Also in Snatch are actors Dougray Scott (Hitman)Ed Westwick (Gossip Girl) and Luke Pasqualino (Skins). If you haven’t watched the trailer for the show, Grint is trying hard to shed his Gryffindor persona.

While on the Late, Late Show with James Corden, Grint was confronted that he does, in fact, share a resemblance with another famous artist. Apparently, Grint has heard about his real life body double. His double is none other than music maker and Ed Sheeran. What’s worse is people will actually think he’s Sheeran.

Here’s the video of Grint explaining what he does when people mistake him for Ed Sheeran.

I was not expecting the picture of Rupert and Ed dressed identical, down to the matching tattoo. That’s some dedication to a joke. Personal, I can’t help but laugh. This does make me wonder if Grint, in fact, can sing and if he does if asked by a fan. This could be the ginger twin duet you didn’t know you wanted.

Reportedly, he’s filming in the UK a television series called Sick Note. Rupert Grint plays the lead character, Daniel Glass who is a compulsive liar. Also appearing on the show is Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead) and Don Johnson (Miami Vice). A premier date for series has yet to be announced.

You can watch Grint wear the hell out of a white suit on Snatch starting March 16 on the Crackle app.
