10. Jon Snow Gets Married, Part II

Another one of the “Jon Snow Gets Married” Game of Thrones theories is a little bit less creepy than him marrying his aunt, but not by much: it’s the one where he marries his cousin.

Yes, that’s right: another Game of Thrones fan theory suggests that Jon Snow and Sansa Stark become Mr. and Mrs., uh, Snow.

As in the case of Jon marrying Daenerys, however, Jon’s marriage to Sansa would strictly be for business purposes. First, it would consolidate the Stark family’s position in the North, making it impossible for Winterfell to be captured again. And if, in fact, Sansa is pregnant by Ramsay Bolton, Jon’s marriage to Sansa before the baby is born would give the baby legitimacy, ensuring that everything remains “in the family.”

But more importantly: if Jon is married to Sansa, Littlefinger can never use her as a bargaining chip again.
