Need a Game of Thrones fix before the new season starts? Consider these 15 Game of Thrones theories to get you through the drought!

With the newest Game of Thrones teasers finally dropping for the penultimate season of the show, the anticipation for the new season is reaching a fever pitch. One of the main reasons that fans are so excited about the seventh season of Game of Thrones is that they, literally, do not know what to expect: this is the first season that doesn’t have any source material to work from, as creator George RR Martin had previously announced that The Winds of Winter wouldn’t be ready in time for the seventh season premiere in July.

This, of course, begs the question: will The Winds of Winter be influenced by the new season of the show? Obviously, as George RR Martin plays a major role in the direction of the show, there’s nothing that won’t be featured on HBO without his expressed approval. This, then, suggests that The Winds of Winter will be little more than a novelization of the seventh season.

But it’s no matter: Game of Thrones promises to be a good time.

As we, as fans, patiently wait for our Westerosi friends to catch us up with their lives, we’ve come up with this list of the 15 Game of Thrones theories for the new season that, somehow, are just plain awesome.
