Carrie Fisher is Still Being Remembered by Peter Mayhew and Sean Lennon

It has only been a few months but we are still recovering from the lose of Carrie Fisher. And it seems like the stars are as well.

Carrie Fisher has been gone for over two months now and we’re still mourning the loss of our hero. But that doesn’t mean we’re the only ones. It seems as if Peter Mayhew still is mourning the loss of his good friend.

At a con in Oregon this weekend, Mayhew signed the Carrie Fisher remembrance wall. And in the way Carrie wanted to be remembered, many commented on her death. How sad that she was drowned in moonlight, strangled by her own bra.

But it seems as if Carrie is still giving us more things to love her by. Mainly a new song written by herself and Sean Lennon. (Yes, that Sean. The one who “Beautiful Boy” is about.)

You can listen to the song here but beware. If you’re someone like me and Carrie meant the world to you, it might be hard to listen to. Much like Bright Lights, watching things that Carrie did under the guise that she would still be around to see our reactions hurts.

She was a woman who meant the world to us all. A fierce advocate for mental health and the feminist icon we all needed, Carrie will always be remembered for how amazingly bright she shined.

We miss her with every passing day, wishing to see that wit of hers on Twitter. It is a darker place without her but she’d want us to shine on.
