Here are 13 Actors We’d Love to see Play Professor X in the X-Men

1. Patrick Stewart

Okay so the best option we have for this whole slider is that Patrick Stewart just continues to play Charles Xavier. He has made the role so iconic that without him, it will feel weird. Sure, we’ll get over it and get used to whoever takes it over but they’ll be nothing compared to him.

Maybe he’ll be like Hugh Jackman and return to the role if Marvel offers him a contract. But as of right now, he just says that this will be the end. And that is insanely depressing to think about. We love Sir Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier and we don’t want him to leave.

So he would be our best option for who should play Charles. Because really, he is Professor X. He’s the actor we all think of when we hear that name and he is the actor who made us love him. So we just want him to stay and continue to play our favorite mutant teacher.
