The Running of the Bull has Made its Way to Queens…Literally
A bull is running wild in Queens, New York right now and most of us are asking the question: How did a bull get to Queens in the first place?
In news we didn’t think we’d hear about today, a bull was running around Queens and taking people down. No, really. The cow rammed into someone and just continued on their way. Now in other parts of the United States, that wouldn’t be weird. But if you know the city of New York, most of us are confused as to how the cow even got here.
While this worthy adversary is now down and being taken away, the bull did cause quite a bit of a stir up in Queens. Mainly because no one knows how in the world a cow got to Queens in the first place. New York City is an island and the five boroughs aren’t exactly filled with farm life.
So where did this little guy come from? Was he a pet that managed to escape into the streets? Did he have a family and a house to get back to? We may never know the answers to these questions. But we do know that he escaped and ran free in Queens. (Really, not a prize when you think about it.)
But at least this guy, we’ll call him Manolo (which was the Bull Fighter in The Book of Life), made a run for it. He tried to break free, but eventually the man got him.
Poor Manolo, he will never make it to wherever he was going. Too bad that it ended up stopping in Queens.

So raise a drink to Manolo, the bull who ran through Queens and confused all of us about where he came from.
