“Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” has doubled down on the killer robots, with FitzSimmons the last remaining member. Check out this episode’s official synopsis.

If you’re a fan of killer robots, then you’re enjoying the heck out of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD’s fourth season.

At the end of the last episode, we discovered that four of our main characters have been replaced by life model decoys. The only normal people remaining are Fitz and Simmons. And it’s more of a question of “when they get turned” rather than “if they get turned.”

The episode’s official synopsis, courtesy of ABC:

"Suspicion turns to paranoia when the team doesn’t know who can be trusted as more LMDs infiltrate S.H.I.E.L.D."

Obviously, Daisy, Coulson, Mack, and Mace don’t know they’re LMDs. They think they’re the actual people they are and that will make it all the harder. FitzSimmons can’t let on that they know anything is out of the ordinary.

Because you can bet that the LMDs directive is probably along the lines of “Capture FitzSimmons to finish taking over SHIELD.” But what is Radcliffe’s goal after he takes over SHIELD? Have the Inhumans work for him to start the evolution of humanity?

And will Senator Nadeer’s brother ever show up again? Sure, she shot him in cold blood and tossed him, bleeding, out of a helicopter into an ocean (or was it a lake?). But we watched him go back into Terrigenesis. Will he return? Or was it just Simmons’ voice talking him out of his last Terrigenesis that got him through?

There are still so many unanswered questions, and we’re running out of Agents of SHIELD episodes fairly quickly. I have faith we’ll have plenty of answers, but more questions will pop up.
