Will We See a Game of Thrones Trailer at this year’s SXSW?

SXSW is every fan’s dream and now Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams will join David Benioff and D. B Weiss at the event. Does this mean we’ll get a trailer?

It has been announced that Game of Thrones stars Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams will also be going to SxSW. For those who don’t know, South by South West is a festival to praise those in interactive film and the film industry as well as countless other mediums.

This year, showrunners David Benioff and D. B Weiss were already confirmed for the event and now, it seems, as if stars Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams will join them. But what does this mean for us as fans? Will we just get to see the stars and listen to their stories of being on set or will we get an exclusive look at season 7?

Our hopes are that we may even get the trailer for the season. While HBO does not need the boost, it’d be nice for us to get the trailer early and see what the newest season of Game of Thrones has in store for us all.

If not, those who get to go to SxSW this year will at least be treated to Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams. And really, that’s an incredible treat in itself. Who wouldn’t love to see those two and get to ask them questions? They’re amazing! We just hope we also get a sneak peek at that new season.

Game of Thrones season 7 starts this year and while we know a few spoilers, we’re still very much in the dark. Hopefully soon we’ll know more. Until then, let’s just pray that we get that trailer we’re all dreaming of.
