Michael Flynn, the former National Security Advisor, resigned this week because he committed treason. So which host covered it better?
With everything going on with Michael Flynn, the late night talk show circuit covered it with flying colors. Well, Stephen Colbert and Seth Meyers did at least. As is with all their segments, it really is just about who you’d rather get your information from.
This story is really no different. Both Seth and Stephen took it on and both had 8 minute long segments on the topic. For those who don’t know what is happening, Michael Flynn, the former National Security advisor committed treason. It’s honestly as simple as that except that no one is willing to call it what it is, except for Colbert.
Flynn shared classified information with the Russian ambassador and lied about it. He then didn’t realize that the phone calls were recorded and was caught. This is the same man who condemned Hillary Clinton time and time again. And in the words of Michael Scott, “Well, well, well, how the turntables.”
The take each man had on the Flynn issue was different and it is hard to even pick a winner. And honestly, they are both great for different reasons. Colbert continued to just slam fact after fact and was the one who actually called it treason.
Seth took his typical approach and made fun of every thing that was happening. He showed a Trump interview where Trump pretended to not know what was happening and just showed the incompetency of the government.
Basically, pick your poison. The story is hard to swallow no matter what.

But in all honestly, just watch both of these men. They’re making sure we are informed and making it somewhat fun to watch.
