Victoria Season 1, Episode 5 Live Stream: Watch “The Queen’s Husband” Online
As Victoria and Albert settle into married life, things will not necessarily turn out to be domestically blissful. Here’s how to tune in to Victoria.
Once again, PBS’ latest historical drama has to go up against a massive television event. Last weekend, it was a particularly large football game. This weekend, Victoria will go up against the prospect of Beyoncé getting all the recognition she deserves for Lemonade and also performing at the Grammys.
And yet it’s possible to peek at one’s phone to watch Beyoncé and also watch Victoria at the same time. Beside, the Grammys take hours. This show doesn’t.
Per the synopsis, “The Queen’s Husband” will once again focus on Albert’s struggles to come to terms with his new position in life. If nothing else, the scene already posted to YouTube by PBS further emphasizes this:
But still, our newlyweds will forge on with their life together as a couple, including in the bedroom, as mentioned in the synopsis. (Is that really any surprise, considering all the sneaking off they did to be together before their wedding?)
Anyway, the synopsis does also mention that Miss Skerrett and Francatelli will continue their little dance of intrigue belowstairs, with Miss Skerrett this time wanting him to do something for her. Only time will tell what that may be.
Here’s what you need to know to catch this week’s episode.
