Airbnb

Airbnb bought their Super Bowl ad at the last minute, but it’s quite moving. Should not come as a shock to anyone where Airbnb stands on the immigration issue.

It should be noted the company itself has had issues of racism they’ve had to work through and accept. For many this was seen not only as a standing up for what is right, but a commitment by the company that they will do better going forward.

Buick

Buick had one of the funnier commercials during this Super Bowl. We have Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton throwing passes and delivering stiff arms on a pee-wee football team. You can’t help smiling watching Newton giving the kids chest bumps.

Audi

Audi decided to release the ad before the Suer Bowl. It was met with lots of opinions, but they should be commended for taking on a subject like a wage gap.

Skittles

Skittles likes to keep its ads light and funny. That’s what people come to expect, and they deliver. For next year, can we recommend a boom box for the young man?

Budweiser

Budweiser also chose to release its ad ahead of the Super Bowl. The company decided to take the time to talk about its creator, Adolphus Busch humble beings as an immigrant to America. It was met with mostly favorable reviews, but many are calling for a boycott. Budweiser still aired the commercial.

Mr. Clean

If this is wrong, I don’t want to be right. The Mr. Clean commercial goes down as the most memorable of the night. Is it because of his sweet dance moves, great song, and new look? Yes. Yes to all of that. Poor Pine-Sol lady, she never stood a chance.

84 Lumber

Who is 84 Lumber? We don’t know, but they delivered one of the most thought provoking commercials on immigration of the night. The full ad was rejected by FOX and the NFL for the Super Bowl so what we saw is a different version. The original lives on the internet and here for your you.

It’s A 10 Hair

It’s A 10 Hair Care company has just proved you can take a 30-second ad and talk about social issues and still be funny at the same time. They deserve a round of applause.
