Victoria Season 1, Episode 4 Live Stream: Watch Online

For those who may not want to watch that very large television event tonight, there’s always Victoria on PBS. Here’s how to watch online.

Let’s face it: the first Sunday in February are not usually a great time for channels that don’t have the, ahem, big game on them. However, it is possible to avoid the sporting event, the parties, and even the commercials with none other than Victoria on PBS.

The synopsis of episode 4, “An Ordinary Woman”, puts a sour note on the happy ending of the third episode. Sure, Albert and Victoria have agreed to get married, but she’s still queen, and that, of course, leads to complications. In particular, the question centers around the wedding vow to obey. After all, Albert’s not only not going to be king, he’s also German. Naturally, people don’t take kindly to this.

Check out the PBS preview below:

Albert has some wishes of his own. It sounds like he wants an allowance and a proper title, in order to help himself retain something remotely resembling independence. Meanwhile, Victoria wants nothing more than to get married, because she’s very clearly attracted to him. (She also suspects that something might be up with his insistence on a title.)

Meanwhile, Lord Melbourne has to figure all of the politicking out and try and explain it to his queen, since he seems to have a knack for it.

However, it seems like we may very well see a wedding tonight. Check out that preview still in the video above. Melbourne certainly looks spiffy, doesn’t he?
