Stranger Things took the world by storm with the 1983 set thriller show. And now we have a glimpse of 1984 in their universe for season 2!

Netflix has given us a lot of amazing shows over the years but nothing quite like Stranger Things. The 1983 based television show took audiences by storm last year and we still haven’t stopped talking about it.

From the kids on the show to the return of Winona Ryder and Steve Harrington being Jean-Ralphio Sapperstein, there is a lot of stuff to unravel about the show itself and the cultural phenomenon it became.

But now, we have a first look at the new season from Netflix and Entertainment Weekly!

It shows the boys dressed up like the characters from Ghostbusters which came out in 1984. Get it? Since the next season is set in 1984? Honestly this show is just extremely clever and fun to watch! If only they cared about Barb as much as the rest of us do.

But if this little sneak peek isn’t enough for you, have no fear! The Super Bowl is here! Well, at least, the Super Bowl holds an exclusive look at season 2! So now we’re all going to have to tune into the football game in order to see what season 2 is going to have in store for us. I guess that’s one way to get the Stranger Things nerds to tune into the game!

There is currently no release date for the series but many project it to be released before July of this year. Hopefully after Sunday we’ll know more but at least we’ll get even more of a sneak peek. Because really, we need it. All of us are too addicted to Stranger Things.
