Arrow Season 5, Episode 11 Live Stream: Watch Online

Tonight’s episode of Arrow promises lots of ladies kicking ass, which is always welcome. Here’s how you can watch “Second Chances” online.

Arrow’s midseason premiere ended with a few intriguing developments. First, District Attorney Adrian Chase agreed to defend Diggle in his court-martial, removing him from the custody of the corrupt General Walker. Oliver and Felicity decided that it’s time to train a new Black Canary to carry on Laurel’s legacy. And in the flashbacks, Oliver met a woman named Talia, whom most viewers will recognize as a prominent villain in the DC Comics universe.
It looks like tonight’s episode, titled “Second Chances”, will follow up on all of those storylines. Here’s the official plot synopsis from The CW:
"In his quest to take down Kovar, Oliver gets help from a surprising source – Talia al Ghul. However, when she reveals what she wants from him in exchange, Oliver isn’t sure he can accept her help. Felicity attempts to hack the NSA to help free Diggle but when her online efforts are flagged, she faces off against an unknown adversary. Meanwhile, Curtis tells the team about a female vigilante, Tina Boland, he uncovered online who has been wreaking havoc all over the country."
Talia al Ghul appeared briefly as a child, played by Milli Wilkinson, in the Legends of Tomorrow episode “Left Behind”. In Arrow, she’s grown up and played by Lexa Doig. The older daughter of Ra’s al Ghul, Talia is a skilled warrior. We got a glimpse of her marksmanship with a bow and arrow when she rescued Oliver from Ishmael Gregor.
Does this mean the League of Assassins will somehow factor into Oliver’s past? As Screencrush points out, he didn’t seem familiar with the organization before Sara returned in season 2. Talia also apparently plays a “crucial part” in the Prometheus narrative, which suggests the flashbacks might be more relevant than they seem.
As for Tina Boland, played by Walking Dead alum Juliana Harkavy, she seems like a perfect candidate for the new Black Canary. We saw last episode that she has technology similar to what Laurel used for her Canary Cry, and she’s willing to dispense some vigilante justice. But judging by the trailer for “Second Chances”, recruiting her won’t be easy:
With Evelyn switching allegiances, Team Arrow is in dire need of a woman who can fight (no offense to Felicity, who is awesome in her own right). We like that Tina doesn’t seem hesitant to challenge Oliver; she should bring an interesting change to the team dynamic.
