Can You Watch the Puppy Bowl on Your Phone?
By Buckie Wells
The Puppy Bowl is a traditional lead-in to the Super Bowl! But can you catch it on-the-go? Can you watch the Puppy Bowl on your phone?
The Puppy Bowl has been around for quite some time and serves as an excellent alternative to the Super Bowl. Plus, it holds the best part of the afternoon — it airs on Animal Planet after the Kitten Bowl, but still before the Super Bowl. So, that means you can get all your party prep done in the morning, then take the perfect mid-afternoon breather in time to catch the Puppy Bowl before all the action goes down that evening with the Super Bowl.
On the other hand, 3 p.m. is when I feel the most productive. Sunday is the day of rest, so I like to sleep in late and take my time getting out of the house. If you’re like me, by the time 3 p.m. rolls around, you’ll be right in the middle of blowing up all the pool floaties for your epic Super Bowl party! Which means, you might need to find a different way to watch the Puppy Bowl, or perhaps, watch the Puppy Bowl on your phone.
Thanks to the convenience of the smartphones and the internet in general, this isn’t as difficult as it seems. Animal Planet, which hosts the Puppy Bowl, does have a streaming service. But if you still can’t watch it live, there’s even better news! Animal Planet will air Puppy Bowl XIII “all day and night for a total of 10 hours on game day.”
That’s right — 10 hours of puppies on repeat day long!
And don’t forget, if you feel overwhelmed with cuteness and need a constructive way to work through your emotions, you can adopt a puppy!
