Can You Watch Super Bowl 51 on Your Phone?
By Buckie Wells
Whether you’re rooting for the Patriots or Falcons, you’re not going to want to miss this event! Here’s how you can watch Super Bowl 51 on your phone.
Football is one of the most American things around. Like the bald eagle, it’s a special symbol for our country. And the pinnacle of football is the Super Bowl! Now, some may say that college football is more interesting. But the college football championships don’t draw in the same numbers as the Super Bowl. People who don’t even like football watch the Super Bowl. More importantly, people who were previously rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers — the team that lost to the Patriots on their way to the Bowl — will be tuning into Super Bowl 51!
Of course, seeing New England head to the Super Bowl again in a post-deflategate world isn’t all that surprising. Further, the Atlanta Falcons really pushed their way to the Super Bowl. They pulled out a devastating win against the Green Bay Packers and finished first in the NFC South with an 11-5 record.
So, if everyone brings their A-game — the Super Bowl’s such a big moment that a lot of teams tend to choke — this year’s main event will be worth the watch!
Now, the event begins this Sunday, Feb. 5 at 6 p.m. ET on Fox. Unfortunately, Fox gets a little stingy with their primetime streaming services for sports. To watch a majority of their content, you’ll need some sort of subscription — cable or network. In addition, if you’re watching on your phone and you’re a Verizon customer, you can access the game from the NFL Mobile App. Or maybe it’s time get the NFL Season Pass subscription.
