Is Saturday Night Live On Tonight, January 28th?
Saturday Night Live has been doing a pretty great job with commenting on Trump’s presidency and now, on one of the craziest weeks, is the show even on?
Saturday Night Live has become a staple of our political climate. Why? Because our president loves to watch it and then complain about it on Twitter. But that’s not all, SNL has always done an amazing job on commenting on the political landscape of our country.
With everything that happened this week, you better bet that they Saturday Night Live writers are probably kicking themselves because, unfortunately, the show isn’t new this week. From the bill Trump signed today in regards to Syrian refugees to the March for Life that happened exclusively in Washington today, it was a pretty rich week for Trump haters.
But it is okay because next week, Kristen Stewart will be on to host. And it will definitely be an episode filled with catching up on news. Two whole weeks of Donald Trump existing without an SNL episode in between? That’s dangerous all right.
Whatever happens between now and the next episode of Saturday Night Live, at least we know that Trump will have problems. Not because of Kristen’s episode necessarily but probably because of Baldwin hosting the next week.
We’re honestly very excited for both weeks. We’ll get plenty of Twilight jokes in next week and then an entire episode bashing Donald Trump. Who could ask for anything better? Well, probably Trump but does anybody really care about how he feels about SNL? I’ll answer that for you: No.
