Game of Thrones Season 7 is Very Exciting, Per Maisie Williams

Game of Thrones doesn’t even come back until this summer, but Maisie Williams wants you to know that it’s really going to be very exciting.

Even without Game of Thrones spoilers leaking onto the internet, it’s nearly impossible to not be excited about the upcoming season. Last season’s finale blew up the Sept of Baelor, brought Arya Stark back to Westeros, and set Daenerys Targaryen on the path of conquering the Seven Kingdoms. Well, more accurately, she embarked on a sailing trip. However, that’s more than close enough. Speaking of Arya Stark, Maisie Williams’ latest interview didn’t reveal much information. It did, though, make us more eager for the show’s return.

Per our sister site, Winter is Coming, she flat-out said that “People should be very, very excited” during an interview on The Radio 1 Breakfast Show. To be fair, she was actually talking about where the story might wrap up. Like us, she knows nothing.

Honestly, it’s a bit refreshing to know that even the show’s stars have to craft theories. One can imagine that Williams has some ideas about how her character could take the Iron Throne. Would she steal someone’s face to do it? Perhaps she goes after Cersei, then takes her face. It could work. It would also make for a more interesting end than Daenerys winning it all.

Speaking of speculation, she also admitted that she and her fellow cast members go out for drinks. While out, they end up talking about the show. Funnily enough, they’re careful about what they discuss, so that they don’t inadvertently spoil it. Let’s face it. When people make a point of finding out where actors are in the world, you can’t blame them for their caution.

Hey, that makes us wonder if Maisie Williams has Game of Thrones fanfiction of her own. Does she try and figure out how Arya will kill people and get away with it, like we have? Do she and Sophie Turner have a joint account on a website somewhere?
