“Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” keeps its new episodes coming since returning from winter hiatus. This week’s episode is titled “The Patriot,” and well, that leaves a lot of questions.

It seems as though this episode will focus on the new director. And honestly? That’s completely fine. We don’t know much about him, and it might be nice to get some background information rather than just snide, vague comments by our SHIELD friends.

This episode looks pretty intense. And none of that has to do with life model decoys! It looks like we’ve got two big plots going in this episode: one around Mace, one around LMDs. Because we can’t forget about those killer robots.

Besides, the preview for this week’s episode showed the real version of May waking up in Radcliffe’s lab. You can’t just leave that thread dangling there! It’s a safe bet to say half our SHIELD team will be involved with Mace while the rest will revolve around the LMD!May and whatever else Radcliffe is up to.

What do we think Mace’s “big secret” is? Well, it could be anything. Simmons already made a remark about his heroics from the past. Maybe it’s revealed that it was all a lie? We’ll find out tonight!
