8. Charmin

So, here’s another one of those accounts that you wouldn’t expect to have much of a social media following — Charmin. Yes, the toilet paper. The one that uses the adorable family of cartoon bears in their marketing. But it’s not the bears that make Charmin worth following. Sure, they’re cute and all, but it’s the actual posts from Charmin that are highly entertaining.

Where else would you find an article about how to enjoy pooping at work? No, seriously. Click the link. Like the first line of the article says, “Everybody poops. Even at work.” And Charmin gives you tips on how to make the best of it. Once you’re done with that, check out the “Poop Jokes from Poop Experts,” perfect for your inner 12-year-old who still giggles when someone says “duty”? (No? Just me? Never mind.)

Buying toilet paper is just one of those things most of us don’t put much thought into. Usually, you buy whatever is on sale, as long as it doesn’t feel like sandpaper. However, Charmin wants to change that. They want you to notice them, and they want to entertain you while also educating you. Plus, they want to talk to you about bathroom etiquette, about hygiene issues like “itchy bottom,” and about being environmentally conscious. And they’ll use cartoon bears to do it all.
