A Culturess New Year’s Playlist
Rock
Rock ‘n’ roll sure ain’t what it used to be, but if you can get into the niche and find some good rock bars, or people around you that are fans, you can find the good stuff and start finding the rock music that speaks to you. Now, there are some good rock bands that are a little more mainstream— Foo Fighters is a good example— and they may very well make the list, but I hope that some of these tracks are ones you may not have heard, and will make it into your regular music rotation.
I especially love the choice by Alter Bridge (the video above) because it perfectly resembles what went on this year in our political environment. If you want a good song that can speak to all the celebrity deaths we’ve had this year, check out the track titled “You Will Be Remembered” by Alter Bridge.
