4. The Walking Dead – A.M.C – 11 p.m. Friday to 2:40 a.m. Monday

Who doesn’t love a good Walking Dead-a-thon? It’s one of our favorite shows around here, and we couldn’t be happier to see this one on our list. Starting tonight at 11:00 p.m., this marathon will drop you right smack dab in the middle of Season 4, with Episode 9, “After.” If you keep watching long enough, you can see the entirety of the rest of the series play out until 2:40 a.m. Monday morning.

The Walking Dead is one of those high-emotion shows with loads of characters, and no one is safe. Obviously, since it’s set in the zombie apocalypse. From its comic book roots, this franchise has enough legs to keep audiences entertained for years to come, even if some get bit off in the process. We’re not going to spoil anything for you here, especially if you’ve never seen the series, but just know it may be good to begin watching at some point. This is a series that could possibly go on for 12 Seasons or more since the comic book shows no signs of stopping either.

And recently, game developer Telltale released Season 3 of the hit video game, this time titling it A New Frontier. There’s plenty of zombies to go around this holiday season, just be ready to go on another emotional roller coaster if you’re tuning into this TV marathon.
