31. Clinton on Never Giving Up
"It is often when night looks darkest, it is often before the fever breaks that one senses the gathering momentum for change, when one feels that resurrection of hope in the midst of despair and apathy."
This quote is perfect for this election. The minute Hillary lost, everyone suddenly wanted a change and wanted it to be her. Yes, many of us voted for Hillary and wanted her to be our president, but we just assumed she would be.
So when Trump won, everyone was outraged and tried to find that hope in the despair. While we are still looking for it, we have found our hope in the rebel nature that took over a lot of us. We didn’t want Trump and we still don’t and we’re going to fight against him tooth and nail.
That momentum of change that Hillary is talking about is coming from the anger so many feel that Trump now represents us. He may not be our president in our we feel, but he does hold the title. And with that title, comes the fear we all have. But we have to remember this quote from Hillary and push through. We have to do it for ourselves and for Hillary.
