42. Her Concession Speech

When asked if he would accept the results of the election, Donald Trump basically said no and we all assumed that there would be no concession speech. He was a sore loser and we were all aware of that. But nothing could have prepared us for the sheer brilliance that was Hillary’s speech. Mainly because, we didn’t think we’d hear one.

Hillary gave a speech that was so inspiring to everyone but especially to young girls. She tried to tell them that they could be anything they wanted. It was extremely important and showed exactly why Hillary is amazing.

She could have just told us to respect and honor Donald Trump as our president and be done with it. But she didn’t. Instead she expressed how important women are and told us that we made history by getting her this far into the election.

We might not like the end result, but Hillary is right. We made history this election by having the first woman ever to win the popular vote of a presidential election. And while a Hillary Clinton presidency is what most of us wanted, we at least got this amazing, inspiring speech out of the tragic loss.
