Season 9: Kevon & Meg’s Sexy Siren

After managing to surprise us in the premiere episode of Season 9 by not eliminating anyone (a first for the show in nine seasons), the challenge the second week was to design a siren. This challenge, like many that season, was a team challenge, with the producers randomly assigning the contestants into teams of two. Meg and Kevon made an unlikely Top Two team, since Michael Westmore seemed very dubious about their design based on their assigned Textile Cone Snail during his walk though.

But the two persevered. The snail-shell hat with the seaweed sticking out of it was actually pretty ingenious, compared to what some of the other contestants came up with. The face was pretty, but the teeth and whited out eyes took it from a beauty make up to terrifying. When Glenn says he’s never seen anything like it before, that was the cue that this would be taking the win. Ve called her creepy and beautiful. (Kevon admitted he’d date her. We’ll just leave that there.) Perhaps that’s why Meg took the win for it, because she was the one responsible for the beauty make up that kept the face from being a total terror.
