2. Teddy Flood

Teddy Flood is basically an accessory. In every other show out there, Teddy would be the lead and we’d have to root for him as our hero. But in the show, he is just there to aid Dolores and he continually dies for her storyline.

It is amazing to see because most of the time, we don’t have that in a television show. We have the male hero, the woman he loves and has to protect, and that’s about all we have of her. In this show, it is completely different. Instead, it gives us Teddy.

Let us be real for a second, Teddy is amazing mainly because of James Marsden. He is beautiful to look at and he does a great job playing to Teddy’s earnest nature. But Teddy isn’t he main character. When the show first came out, everyone thought that Flood would become the focal point of the show but we learned the opposite. Teddy’s point is to be in the background of Dolores story, and they picked the first actor for that role.

I mean, I want Marsden to lead a movie more than anyone in this world, but it is just his career so far. He’s always in the background to the female lead. So Teddy is perfect for him.
