25. She’s the Alpha Female the North needs

Let’s just be real here: Sansa is a badass. It’s been a very, very long journey for her, but we’re so impressed she’s been able to handle herself thus far. Sansa is a true alpha female; Strong, determined, undeterred by any obstacle that may be thrown her way. She can be intimidating and devastating in her delivery, and is especially good at rattling men’s cages who think they can walk all over her.

In this scene from Season 6’s “The Broken Man,” the Northern army is looking for loyal houses to help fight in the upcoming battle for Winterfell. While in Deepwood Motte, Lord Glover refuses the call, getting right up in Sansa’s face saying, “I served House Stark once, but House Stark is dead.” Instead of fighting back or getting angry, Sansa has a look in her eye that sees that as a challenge. House Stark is very much alive, and she’s not about to let someone like Lord Glover forget that.

Jon Snow may be a tremendous fighter and we’re sure he’ll make a great King in the North, but he wouldn’t have been able to accomplish anything without the strong Lady Stark by his side. Here’s hoping they learn to trust each other in Season 7 (and maybe lessen Littlefinger’s influence over Sansa. She’s too good for a world class creep like him).
