Lara Croft Cosplay’s Worbla Wonderland

Sara Croft, the artist behind the picture for laracroftcosplay, works with pleather, foamboard, acrylic paint, craft foam, worbla (a heat-moldable plastic) and polymer clay. Quite a few artists on Etsy use these Face Off-type materials, but laracroftcosplay’s stuff is more symmetrical and “real” looking than a lot of the other stuff. Not that there aren’t tons of great cosplay artists on there! But laracroftcosplay’s stuff stood out for me.

The Ellaria Sand Cobra Snake Bracelet (left) is definitely one of the items that drew me to this shop. I mean, come on. Look at it. I will just let the artist describe it:

"The bracelet is made from metal alloy and plastic, fully flexible and incredibly strong, you can shape it to your arm’s exact measurements, you put it on by sliding your thumb through the loop near the cobra’s head , then very easily coil the rest of the bracelet on your arm."

Again, lots of dragon jewelry on Etsy. What makes the Daenerys Targaryen silver egg and dragon necklace (center) unique is that this baby dragon sits on top of a dragon scale egg like it’s just hatched. It’s a stylish bangle for cosplay and every day.

The Margaery Tyrell Single Rose Silver Necklace (right) is fit for a lady of Highgarden. Some other artists on Etsy have variations on this one, but laracroftcosplay’s is the biggest. I mean that in a good way! It looks really cool. I’d wear it with most of my (not cosplay) wardrobe.
