I didn’t include this one to be controversial (although, my own family might snicker at that comment. They know me to be the last one to shy away from controversy or confrontation, even at Thanksgiving). If you don’t know the history behind Sia’s “The Greatest” chances are your friends and family won’t either. This is a song Sia wrote as a tribute to the Orlanda, Florida Pulse nightclub shooting victims. If you remember, Pulse was a gay nightclub. Forty-nine people were killed in the shooting, which was carried out by a single person.
