“Live By the Water”, Madisen Ward and The Mama Bear

Madisen Ward and The Mama Bear is a band you may have never heard of yet. They hail from my hometown—Kansas City, Missouri—and have taken over the indie scene around here over the last year or so. They are a mother-son duo with an old school feel, and are perfect for our playlist. “Live By the Water” is one of my favorites, and BOOM, it mentions pie. Thanksgiving just ain’t the same without some pie and some good ole soulful music.
