Heidi is wearing a rather plain little black dress. I suppose she’s classing up the joint, since Nina’s boss is here. Nina Garcia of course, had to show up to work, since her boss is here. Zac showed up in an act of solidarity. Anne Fulenwider is revealed to also be the new Tim Gunn figure for Project Runway: All Stars this coming spring, replacing Zanna Roberts Rassi, who has held the slot for the last two seasons. (This will be the third mentor figures in five seasons.) Also joining the group, a random actress named Camilla Belle, who is hawking something so unimportant I already forgot what it was. Heidi insists the AnthonyRyan Rule™ is in effect.

Roberi: On sale for $65 at Khols. Hurry in for pre-Black Friday deals.

Laurence: I like her sleek leather looks better. Not that this dress doesn’t look expensive, but it also looks a little junior.

Erin: It’s very basic, but it’s finished and semi-polished, which is impressive considering she did it in four hours. This is not great and even the Camelle girl admits quietly that it’s better moving than standing still. Nina admits it’s not her best work, not by a mile. But the judges were so damn glad that Erin didn’t crash and burn in front of Nina’s boss, they put her in the top. Fulenwider is not that impressed.

Mah Jing: I really like it, but I’m an aging hippie who dresses like a yarn store threw up on me. Thankfully so does Nina, and she’s neither of those things. It’s the mix of materials. Zac says he can see the effect of having Mah Jing’s mother here last week, and that it’s done wonders for him.

Cornelius: The seams don’t read from afar and the puzzle pieces aren’t interesting enough to care about. But I guess in the room you can see them, because the seam placement is praised to high heaven. Nina loves the severity and the pops of whimsy, which I think there needed to be more of. I’m a little startled he won. I would have gone with Mah Jing personally. But hey, Dexter and Erin’s faces were priceless, so.

Rik: The print looks like a bedsheet of a dead man. From the front the judges love it…from the back they hate it. Rik insists it was deliberate, but all of them assume he had time management issues. Heidi hates the print. But none of that matters, because Nina’s boss, Fulenwider, loves it, so much she forgives him for the back. He’s not going anywhere.

Dexter: It’s a dress that might as well not even be there and a jacket with those terrible circle shoulders. (In the black, they look like leather Mickey Mouse ears). Fulenwider loves the concept behind it, that the voyeurism of looking into New York apartment windows. She’s also glad to see a goth girl on the runway. But she says the jacket ruins it. Heidi hates the whole thing and tells everyone how he did this same jacket a couple of weeks ago.

Nathalia: Star Trek: The Hipster Generation. Heidi calls it a Power Ranger. They make her take the jacket off and the model’s boob almost falls out. Nina says it looks like an outfit for comic-con. Fulenwider says it doesn’t look like a fashion designer designed it.

Dexter has now been on the bottom as many times as Erin, and personally, I’m tired of both of them. But they do bring the drama week after week. Whereas Nathalia has gone literally as far as she can. Maybe even a week longer than she should have, some could argue. But then Heidi pulls the old “one or more of you will be out” phrasing, and BOOM, it’s not a fake out! Dexter and Nathalia are *both* out.

We are now left with the Top Six, who are left are the ones who showed at New York Fashion Week, back in September before the season began. From here on out, as they are eliminated, we will review those lines on the Friday after the episodes airs.
