#9: Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton Split

This is more of an international nightmare, because as much as I’d love to be able to take credit  for HBC, she belongs to our friends across the pond. Just as her heart belonged to wacko genius Tim Burton….until 2014, when they decided to go their separate ways after more than a decade together and subsequently confirm to us all that love is impossible. They were perfect. They’re both the weirdest, besides each other. They made movies together. They made babies together. And they shared weird stories of their weird love with all of us, which made everything seem more possible. If a couple whose two homes were connected via an underground tunnel could share a life wherein they have their second child and don’t even give her a name for over a year and still be happy, THERE WAS HOPE FOR ALL OF US TO FIND OUR WEIRDO!

But no. They had to go and decide to do what was best for them. As though we weren’t even a part of their relationship! As though our feelings didn’t even matter here! What about the children, Helena and Tim!?! And by the children, I don’t mean your children whose lives were actually affected, I mean US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the hardest and most significant rift between the USA and England since the Revolutionary War. I still need time.
