PANT SUIT EIGHT: Going for Gold

After two terms as a Senator for the state of New York, Hillary once again decided against retiring and taking a well-deserved break. Come on, just take a vacation Hill! Instead, she decided to up the ante and run for President herself. That’s right. After 8 years as First Lady and two terms as a Senator, Hillary wanted to commit to another 8 years as President. As the song goes in Hamilton, this girl is “non-stop”. Hillary quickly became the front-runner for the democratic nomination for President. Well, until a Senator from Illinois named Barack Obama began gaining on her lead.

During the tough 2008 Presidential primary race, Hillary hit the stage on Super Tuesday to rally supporters. She stuck to her classic choice of a pantsuit, choosing a brilliant gold suit paired with a brightly colored necklace and gold earrings. She looked ready for a fight and even though she ended up not receiving the nomination, she sure set the bar high for future pantsuits. Where else could you appropriately wear a gold pantsuit? The Olympics? The Oscars? Maybe she can wear it somewhere else so it doesn’t go to waste. Just an idea Hillary. This suit deserves another chance at greatness.
