She’s aiming to put an end to campus sexual assault.

Everyday, we hear of more and more stories of girls getting sexually assaulted on campuses across the country. We’re also hearing about the assaulters getting away with it. It’s estimated that one in five women will be sexually assaulted in college. You’re out to lunch with your four closest friends? That’s one of you. Hillary wants to bring an end to sexual assault on campuses and she wants to know that there’s support available if that one in five people is you.

She is pushing that every campus offers the support needed to combat sexual assault. From counseling the health care, she wants to implement services across the country for survivors, no matter their gender, race, or sexual orientation.

Hillary also wants a better criminal justice system during these cases, so the assaulter will not walk away. And of course, she wants better prevention efforts. She wants to educate colleges about the increasing sexual violence at school. Things like consent and bystander intervention need to be addressed and coveted in curriculum.
