Jack Dawson (Titanic)

Jack Dawson made an entire generation of boys and girls fall in love with him. If you ask most twenty something girls who they first fell in love with, they’ll say Jack Dawson. You can ask boys the same question and they’ll respond the exact same way.

There is just something incredible about Jack. He is carefree and open and he just doesn’t understand why he can’t love Rose without any repercussions. Also if you did not cry when Rose was being lowered into the water and there were literally fireworks behind Jack, you’re not human.

Sadly Jack Dawson dies  (Spoiler alert from 1997). But in a great romantic gesture on Rose’s part, she changes her last name to Dawson when she gets to New York City. Granted none of this story is really what happened on the Titanic but imagine how tragic that love story would have been?

Plus this role is one of the first that Leo lost the Oscar for. In fact, he wasn’t even nominated for this hunk and he’s one of his most iconic roles. But nonetheless, Jack Dawson will paint you like one of his French girls and then have hot sex with you in the back of someone else’s car and that makes him a pretty amazing love interest.
