In any other television show, Aidan Shaw would be perfect. He wanted to settle down and have a family and he wanted Carrie to have that with him. The problem is that it wasn’t what Carrie Bradshaw wanted in Sex and the City. She wanted Big and Aidan was just a stepping stone back to him

That doesn’t change the fact that Aidan was every other girls dream. He was a hot carpenter who could build you a table and then cook you dinner and serve it on said table. Aidan Shaw was the man most of us would die for.

But not Carrie. So it ended up being frustrating when she cheated on him. She cheated on him and he was upset about it and it broke our hearts. He loved Carrie and yes, he wasn’t really the kind of man Carrie was going to end up with but that doesn’t change the fact that he was perfect for most of us.

Honestly, a man who willing builds furniture for your friends for their wedding gift is the man you keep around as long as you can. That and he was absolutely gorgeous. So Aidan Shaw, Carrie might not love you but we do.
