8. Babette & Miss Patty

It is impossible to pick just one moment shared between Babette (Sally Struthers) and Miss Patty (Liz Torres). Their characters are hilarious and perfectly suited for each other. They are the kind of women who aren’t afraid to speak their minds, about any topic. Whether they are exchanging gossip, interrupting Taylor at town hall meetings, or knitting, they do everything together and with style.

Babette and Miss Patty are not just supportive to each other, but also the other women of Stars Hollow. They know everything that is going on in the town and are ready to jump into action at a moment’s notice. They take care of everyone including Lorelai and Rory. When Rory and Dean break up (the first time), Babette and Miss Patty are some of the first to rush over show their concern.

Everyone needs older, more experienced friends. They have not only worldly knowledge about men and relationships, but also amazing stories from their vast life experiences. They love nothing more than sharing what they know, especially Miss Patty who has has a lot to say about “the business we call show.” If nothing else, Babette and Miss Patty are the friends you call for a good time. Plus, you know these broads are always up for karaoke.
