Every season has its soundtrack, and Halloween is no different. YouTube crunched the numbers and found 12 essential tracks for our favorite holiday!

YouTube recently dug through it’s data to find the videos with the most increase of views on October 31st and came up with twelve pretty good songs to start off your Halloween playlist!

From obvious faves like Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” to lesser known classical tunes like J.S. Bach’s “Toccata and Fugue in D minor”, we’ve lined them all up for you, in order. There are likely to be a few you love, and a few you’ve never heard of, but either way it’s a great way to start out this spooky season! Whether you’re hosting a party of just handing out candy, some good scary tunes are a good way to set the tone on All Hallows’ Eve.

Just to be clear, these are not the most played songs on Halloween. Rather, these are the songs that receive at least 10 thousand average daily views throughout the year and receive at least 2x the number of views on Halloween.

The data was crunched for 2013, 2014, and 2015.

Take a peek at the list and let us know what else you’d put on your Halloween playlist!
