Sunday, October 23

Nationally televised in the United States

Edmonton Oilers at Winnipeg Jets (3 p.m. ET; NHL Network; Sportsnet and TVA Sports 2 in Canada)

Arizona Coyotes at New York Rangers (7 p.m. ET; NHL Network, MSG, and Fox Sports Arizona)

Locally televised in the United States and/or televised in Canada

Minnesota Wild at New York Islanders (6 p.m. ET; MSG+, Fox Sports North, and Fox Sports Wisconsin)

Vancouver Canucks at Anaheim Ducks (8 p.m. ET; Prime; SN in Canada)

Best bets: Coyotes-Rangers, Canucks-Ducks

Although the Coyotes haven’t had the greatest start to the season, neither has half of the Pacific division. When the team heads to the Rangers, they’ll be facing a team who’s already started jockeying for points in the Metropolitan division on the other conference. In other words, the Coyotes will look to try and turn things around, but it may not happen against a Rangers team with a defense that’s getting healthy.

As for the Canucks and Ducks, the Canucks have had a hot start to the season, and the Ducks…haven’t. We’ll see if the Ducks can start rounding back into form with its first home game of the season after a nasty 1-3-1 road trip to open the season.

Speaking of hot starts, don’t be shy to check in on the Oilers earlier in the day, since they’re right up there at the top of the Pacific division with the Canucks.
