With the 2016-17 NHL hockey season now taking off, here’s the schedule for October 23 through the 29th, with nationally televised games almost every day.

Looking for the Saturday, October 22 schedule? Check out last week’s edition of Your Week in NHL Hockey.

Welcome back to Your Week in NHL Hockey! If this is your first time visiting, we promise that no fights will break out…at least not in the slideshow itself. We make no such promise about the comments below. After all, hockey fans take their hockey teams seriously.

Yours truly will attempt to remain neutral in her game recommendations for each day. In the following slides, you’ll find start times, TV channels, and some brief best picks for every day in NHL hockey for games starting on Sunday, October 23 and going all through Saturday, October 29. Hence the designation of a week in hockey.

In fact, we even have the Canadian listings for you as well, for viewers who prefer Canadian commentary or are, well, actually located in Canada. We sort games based on which networks will carry them.

All of this information comes via the NHL’s official schedule.

That all being said, let’s take a look at what this week in hockey has in store for us all, shall we?
