Ryan Adams, TBA, November 4th

The legend goes that Ryan Adams had something like 80 songs to choose from for his sixteenth studio album. Don’t get your panties in a wad, though. He narrowed it down to about a dozen for the new LP, which is so far unnamed.

"Nice to meet you, where you been? I could show you incredible things Magic, madness, heaven, sin Saw you there and I thought Oh my God, look at that face You look like my next mistake Love’s a game, do you wanna play? New money, suit and tie I can read you like a magazine Ain’t it funny, rumors fly And I know you heard about me So hey, let’s be friends I’m dying to see how this one ends Grab your passport and my hand -“Blank Space” originally by Taylor Swift"

In case you are unaware, Ryan Adams did the unthinkable and took a Taylor Swift album (1989) and made it better. (No, really. I don’t *hate* T-Swift, but I’m no Swiftie, and I find her music to be… meh. Then Ryan Adams came along was all like, “Hey! I can make this better with some emotion and musicality.”)

So anyways, Ryan Adams covered the entire 1989 album last year. So look out for some of this new album to be inspired by Her Swiftness.
