Questions we have about season 3.

Do you SEE those questions on that gorgeous EW cover? Yeah, me too.

How WILL Jamie and Claire reconnect?

What’s IS in Diana’s latest book? (I hope they’re talking about a new Outlander book, although I’m sure they’re playing up her new nonfic, “I Give You My Body . . .”: How I Write Sex Scenes).

And… WHEN will this Droughtlander finally end?!

So many questions, so much time to ask them all.

First thing is first…***SPOILER ALERT*** for those who haven’t read the books…

If the TV show follows the book Voyager, Claire will leave her life (and Brianna and her beau Roger) back in the 20th century to time travel once more, back to the place where she left her heart some twenty years before. After finding out that Jamie is, in fact, NOT dead (that was just a really mean/ maybe necessary story Frank made up after she came back) she will go back to Scotland to find her husband. And her husband she will find… but is he alone? *Snickers*

I won’t give it all away!

As far as the new book… The sex scenes book is cool, if you’re interested in writing or specifically on Diana’s writing. But as for a new Outlander novel? Written In My Own Heart’s Blood was published in 2014. It takes Diana about five years to write one of the “big books”- so don’t expect a new doorstopper for another few years (It’s not as bad as Game of Thrones readers… I feel bad for ya’ll).

And when should we expect the premiere of Season 3? Considering the season starts off with the Battle of Culloden, I’m guessing it will be mid-April- to coincide with the anniversary of the battle.
