To be honest, I spent most of my Patronus quiz rolling my eyes at the really bad graphical work with the trees. Also, I kept moving my cursor around to watch the super magical sparkles of my nascent Patronus, because that at least made it interesting. I summoned up something resembling my happiest memory and then started going with my gut.
I have decried Pottermore’s sorting quizzes before, because yours truly got sorted into Ravenclaw on retro Pottemore, then got shifted to Gryffindor on the second go-round. My Ilvermorny house is Horned Serpent, which is far more accurate. (My new profile name is literally a Monty Python reference, which tells you how seriously I take new Pottermore. I guess this makes me a bad Harry Potter fan?)
Anyways, the magical Patronus quiz told me that I have a wolf Patronus, which I take to mean “If you are my friend, I will consider you part of my pack and nobody messes with you except for me, and even I do it mostly out of love.”
I also take it to mean “It’s okay if we’re not friends.”
I don’t need a super magical Patronus to have a good time. Instead, my wolf and I will happily handle any Dementors and then go off and do some excellent moongazing.
