Culturess Reacts to their Pottermore Assigned Patronus

I love Pottermore despite the fact that it sorted this proud Hufflepuff into Gyrffindor. (I am also a Thunderbird if that means anything to anyone, because if we’re being honest I still can’t get behind this Ilvermorny thing.) I’ve really enjoyed this website simply because it’s just more Harry Potter, written by the queen herself. You are never going to hear me complain about that.
The patronus quiz itself was one of my favorite things Pottermore has ever done. The animation and music were beautiful and made me very emotional. The way it made you pick one word from a series of two or three was kind of stressful and I kept doubting my choice like only a neurotic potterhead could.
In the end I got a dolphin. Dolphins are mostly beloved creatures, but I myself have no feelings towards them one way or another. They seem annoyingly bubbly and friendly to me, but I guess that makes for a good spirit protector. And I did really enjoy watching it swim around my screen at the end of the quiz. Overall I was super happy with my result although a little jealous of those I saw who got creatures like dragon and hippogriff because those are super rare and magical.
