6. Petyr Baelish: “The World’s Greatest Criminal Mind”

Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish has so many plots up his sleeve that it’s a wonder he hasn’t slipped up yet. No matter how big or bad the scheme, the man is constantly coming out on top. I bet zero dollars that he’ll make it to the Iron Throne, as he revealed to Sansa is his endgame, but for now that continues to be his goal. Well, that’s a tour de force if ever there was one, that’s for sure.

“It hasn’t been all champagne and caviar. I’ve had my share of adversity,” Ratigan laments during his number in The Great Mouse Detective. The same goes for Littlefinger, who never fails to bring up that weird crush he still has on Catelyn. Since she’s out of the picture, who better to turn his sights onto than her daughter? Not only did Littlefinger want to crown Sansa Queen in the North, but he wants to make her queen of the Seven Kingdoms as well. I’m so down with that, just as long as Littlefinger gets his head chopped off before he can join her in the throne room.

He may be the greatest criminal mind Westeros has seen, but Littlefinger’s schemes have to catch up to him eventually. Attempting to marry Sansa and take the Iron Throne might be biting off more than he can chew. Something tells me that, one way or another, he’s going to choke.

Just as Ratigan fell, so will Littlefinger too. I give him to the end of Season 7 at best, then it’s bye-bye, birdie.
