Fall marks the beginning of all of our favorite television season. Let us count down the top 10 returning fall TV shows you should watch.

Most people associate the fall season with football, cooler weather and the start of school. Here at Culturess, we’re all about the entertainment aspects of the season. In movies the Oscar-bait season gets underway. And on the smaller screen, we think about all of our favorite television shows that are returning.

Most television shows have an established season category they fall into. On network TV, series still try and stick to the “Fall premiere, Spring brings up the rear” format. But when it coems to the newer, stand alone series, it seems like the very best TV shows are saved for the fall. (TV shows who do not fall into this norm are outliers like Game of Thrones, who are more concerned about the production of a great show rather the corporate timing of the network. You can do this when you are the number one TV show on cable or network.)
