9. Swapnil Shinde, Season 14

While not televised, in an attempt to keep the 2015 PR finalists a secret while presenting collections at New York Fashion Week, Swapnil Shinde walked his floaty looks down the runway. And we’re here to tell you we can’t believe he didn’t win Project Runway because we are totally into these outfits. Yes, Ashley Nell Tipton won the 2015 PR season and her (much needed) collection was gorgeous (and also pastel), but can we please talk about our newly discovered need for a sparkling plunging neckline? Now it’s all we ever think about. We’re not even hungry anymore. We’ve replaced all food with thoughts about Shinde’s gorgeous bodice and how he had one of the most beautiful collections ever. Think about it. Is there a girl into fashion who doesn’t want to feel equal parts princess and cool chick? (The answer is no. We all want to.)

He was smart to mix delicate pastel colored gossamer skirts with hard, bad ass accessories like a cropped black leather jacket and an India-inspired nose ring. The outfit above is like the updated version of Buffy Summer’s prom dress we didn’t even know we needed. One of everything, please. And maybe two of those leather jackets.
