2. Kevin Hart’s Hyundai Commercial

Do you say Hun-day or Hun-die?

This probably goes without saying, but Kevin Hart is a funny, funny dude.

He’s a comedian and movie star, with the latter probably being a direct result of his success in the former. His most recent box office endeavor, Central Intelligence, has made more than $200 million at the box office on a budget just a quarter of that. Additionally, Hart’s voice was used in the Secret Life of Pets, which just crossed the $500 million threshold worldwide.

But Hart can be considered a jack of all trades and creates a similar stir on the small screen when he brings his talents to television. I can’t sit here and list all his best work. But if you have nothing to do and you just want to do the Netflix thang to some terrific comedy, you can watch Let Me Explain or watch this parody video where Kevin Hart impersonates the Inside the NBA squad.

As far as Hart’s commercial prowess of 2016 is concerned, look no farther than this Hyundai commercial. He stalks his daughter on her first date with a dude practically twice Kevin’s height. Like any good father would, Hart gives the suitor the keys to his Hyundai before following them from the movies to the carnival and to the cliffside where the couple attempts to get cozy … until Hart is seen hanging from a ladder on a helicopter.

The commercial is about Hyundai’s smart tracking system for whenever your car decides to take off without you. But it gives Hart the room to indulge in some hilarious and over-the-top antics. There’s nothing I find intimidating about Kevin, but I wouldn’t want to see his face between some stuffed animals at the carnival either.
